Very poor customer service!! Once you put your deposit, it's as if you don't exist. All you get is an answering machine and they never return your call. As an example, they said (by on-site account status) that you are missing some document, I fax it to them, then call to see if they got it, but all I get is an answering machine. Then I call a few days later and finally get someone and they still say I'm missing the document. So I it fax to them again and so on. They go on vacation and leave you hanging. When they get back, I call again, and they still don't return your call. The only way I ever got anyone was to call the main number that solicits new loans. Needless to say, we didn't close on time. They just simply don't care, the loan processor and loan advisor. Also, closing fees are more than the good faith estimate. I would not recommend the headache to anyone.

Closing costs were higher than average. Thought I was paying for customer service and a good product, what a joke that was. Found out the night before closing that they were not going to have the paperwork ready in time. Got an email, not even a phone call. Called for 4 days prior to closing, not one phone call returned. They don't communicate with each other very well, would fax a document to one person, a day later another person would need a copy as well.
The worst part is that I feel I paid a higher closing cost fee for superior service, unfortunately I paid too much for a lousy experience.

Just to let the emailer and everyone else know, the Good Faith Estimate is just that, an estimate. It will never have your total fees on it. What you need to do is look at your Settlement statement at closing. That will have all of your true, final fees on it. The Good Faith will not have Yield Spread or various other fees. If people would take the time to research these things then they would know this and not be surprised.

I have worked for different mortgage lenders for the past twelve years. This is the way it works. Borrowers need to study up on mortgages before they go and get one.People normally research cars before they buy one, why wouldn't you research mortgages? That is just common sense.

Your home is the biggest investment you will ever make.If people would have taken the time to study how the mortgage business works and different types of loans such as ARM loans, maybe the market wouldn't be in such a mess now.Yes,there are some shady companies out there, but people need to stop putting all of the blame on lenders, brokers and the government. The borrowers are just at much to blame. Ignorance is NOT bliss and because of all of the ignorance out there, the whole country is suffering.

The easiest refinance I have ever experienced!!! The website was helpful, my banker was accessable at all times, and the rate and fees were cheaper than my credit union. I would recommend them to anyone.

Lars Amerisave is Terrible October 9th 2007 Rating: 4.00
Dealing with Amerisave is one the worst experiences of my life. They take your money up front, make you sign their forms without modification, talk you into a loan that is best for them and not you, and give you a terrible appraisal. My closing costs came out three times what the "Good Faith Estimate" called for.

I had a closing scheduled but the mortgage advisor had the wrong day - right date just wrong day. So, they didn't order the final ispection report in time and my closing got delayed - too bad for me. I had people flying in to help with the move - had animals to move, etc. There was a too bad attitude. If you use these guys, STAY ON TOP OF THEM!!!
